We’re excited to enter the second year of our full-stack coding bootcamp as our new Pathfinders cohort begins their journey this fall! This three-year program is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act through the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County Workforce Solutions, supporting the Learn & Earn initiative. Over the course of 10 months, our students will divide their time between New Vision Foundation (NVF) and our partner organization, Software for Good (SfG), to receive training and education that prepares our young adults of color for careers in the tech industry.

Over the course of the program, these students will be equipped with a comprehensive skill set, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, deployment strategies, agile methodologies, pair programming, and best practices for remote work. We will continue our weekly Community Connections series, where we bring in professionals from the tech industry to offer guidance and network with our students. Additionally, our bi-weekly Career Development series will carry on, helping students with resume building, interview preparation, and mentorship opportunities.
