Pathfinder Cohort Students Graduate from NVF Full-Stack Coding Bootcamp
We’re excited to celebrate the success of the second cohort of our full-stack coding bootcamp! Over the past six months, these dedicated students have immersed themselves in learning and applying technical and professional skills to prepare for careers in tech.
This program was made possible through the Learn & Earn initiative, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act and supported by the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County Workforce Solutions. In collaboration with Software for Good (SfG), NVF designed a 10-month bootcamp and apprenticeship model that blends technical training with real-world experience.
Throughout the course, students gained expertise in HTML, CSS, Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL, while also developing essential non-technical skills such as agile methodology, collaboration, remote work, and pair programming. They worked on individual and team projects, building fully functional web applications for two Minnesota-based companies and presenting their work. Additionally, a bi-weekly Career Development series helped students build professional portfolios, refine resumes, and expand their networks.
As our graduates move into the apprenticeship phase of the program, we will continue to support them alongside Software for Good. By summer 2025, they will have completed the full program, and we can’t wait to see them thrive in the tech industry!
Stay tuned for more updates on their journeys and the impact of this initiative!
