MDE has awarded New Vision Foundation with the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund Grant (ESSER) summer grant. ESSER funding was designed to target and support students most impacted educationally and emotionally by the COVID-19 pandemic: low-income students, students of color, American Indian students, English language learners, students with disabilities and students experiencing homelessness. NVF will use this funding for our summer academic enrichment programming for school aged youth. As a community-based organization, we are very grateful to have been selected to further provide tech education and training to disadvantaged youth across the state.
