Stacey Nelson-Kumar, New Vision Foundation’s Newest Board Member
Please welcome our newest board member, Stacey Nelson-Kumar!
Stacey Nelson-Kumar serves as the Director of Community Impact for Comcast in the Twin Cities region where her primary responsibilities include advancing digital equity through Internet Essentials, managing community partnerships and investing charitable resources to local nonprofit organizations. She also oversees the Comcast Cares volunteer program and the annual Employee Giving Campaign.
Stacey held similar community relation positions at several companies, including Cargil for three years and Supervalu for two years in the Twin Cities. She also worked for Supervalu in Boise, Idaho where she oversaw community giving for a network of more than 400 Albertsons grocery stores across the western states for three years. Prior to joining Supervalu, Stacey managed the community grant process for United Way in Boise and led key community initiatives. She also worked in St. Louis, Missouri for four years as Assistant Vice President of Community Relations for Commerce Bank.
Stacey holds a dual master's degree in Social Work and Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and she received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. She lives in Chaska, MN with her husband and four children. Stacey serves on the boards of Charities Review Council, Corporate Volunteerism Council Twin Cities and New Vision Foundation.
